pauliom — Moment In Time

Three features of the Nokia Windows Phone that excite us are; 1) The social aggregation 2) Easy access to the camera 3) Great use of typography. From an artistic angle; Russel Crotty makes great use of typography in his exhibits. We wanted to explore that relationship between text and image and how words can become mark-making tools.

The idea of 'Moment In Time' is to capture an instant of the owners life via a picture where textures and shading of the image are formed by the text from users social feeds.

Unfortunately we have not completed the project. The shading is still in its infancy and the heavy functionality has not been ported from wpf to wp7. There is nothing that will prevent that apart from time.
